We are offering extension Bible college classes at FPF

Pastor Mike Swendson will be teaching "Studying the Bible" on Tuesday Evenings

7-9 PM. This is a 10 week course and can be taken for credit or audit.

BL 520 STUDYING THE BIBLE  (2 Credits)

Representative passages of Scripture from a variety of genres in both Old and New Testaments will be analyzed and studied in order to learn basic Bible study skills. Special emphasis will be placed on the meaning of Scripture in its historical and literary context. The student will be introduced to the proper use of basic Bible study tools.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: 

    For “Credit” Students –

Students taking classes for “college credit” need to pre-register with the Southwest Bible College office.  Attendance and examination policies apply to students who take classes for credit.  To receive college credit, one must complete the application process and become an accepted student.  Students need to have a high school diploma or the equivalent.  (High School juniors and seniors may take classes for college credit on a provisional basis).  Please call the SWBC office at (951) 247-6106 for details and for an application form.

    Audit Students –

Audit Students are welcome to sit in on the class, but they will not receive college credit.   Auditing students will register for the class on the first night of the class at the class location.  Auditors are exempt from attendance and examination requirements.  Auditors are invited to observe the class and glean from the teaching.  However, course discussions and interactions will be focused on those who are taking the class for credit.

CREDIT COSTS:

     Credit Students -

Tuition Costs are $70 per credit unit. For this two-credit class, the total tuition charge is $140 collected the first night of class.  Tuition fees are refunded as outlined in the College catalog.  Textbooks, if required, may be purchased at additional cost through SWBC, and are available the first night of the class.

    Audit Students –

Family Praise Fellowship has made a special arrangement with SWBC so that Auditor fees ($35 per credit unit; $70 for this two credit class) will not be charged.  However, an offering will be received during this class to help cover course costs.
