"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

 ~Romans 3:23~

Jesus teaches that our sins have consequences:

"For the wages of sin is death,  but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."   ~Romans 6:23~

God sent His Son to pay the price of our sins:

"But God showed his love toward us, in that,  while we were yet sinners,  Christ died for us."

~Romans 5:8~

What is required of us?

"If you confess with your mouth,  that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raise him from the dead, you will be saved." ~Romans 10:9~

The Bible assures us of eternal salvation:

For, "every one who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved." 

~Romans 10:13~

How can we do this?  A simple and sincere prayer from your heart like the following one..

Dear Lord Jesus,

I recognized that I am a sinner.  Please come into my heart and cleanse me of my sin.  I ask you to be the Lord of my life as you teach me to be more like you.  In the name of Jesus I pray,   Amen.
